Building upon the success of our first Platform Conference in February 2008, our second platform conference will be held in London’s Café Royal on 21st and 22nd October. This has been timed to coincide with the adnitor 2008 Platform Awards dinner in conjunction with CWC Research www.cwcresearch.co.uk.
Highlights of this event include:
“The Big Debate”—4 IFAs who do not use platforms or who are yet to choose platforms tell us why this is. Are today’s platforms little more than glorified Excel spreadsheets? Directors from leading platforms try to convince them about the merits of using a platform solution. Can platforms really assist IFAs deliver better service to their customers?
Personal Accounts—the opportunities these present for platforms and asset managers.
What's new in the platform world—we hear from the latest platform entrants and also about the latest web technology for communicating with our customers. Apparently blogs are yesterday’s news!
“Challenge Platforum”—the 90 minute business case for wrap. Starting with a blank piece of paper, we invite an IT provider, a tools provider and a data provider to explain what they do and how these pieces all fit together to build a wrap proposition. Taking comments and contributions from all delegates to ensure we cover all critical components we aim to build a business case for a wrap in 90 minutes.
