Live Consulting

Live Consulting specialises in helping clients to design, implement and report on Corporate Responsibility (CR) strategies.
Using our extensive knowledge of the marketplace and the CR world, we work with companies and other organisations to put in place strategies which are aligned to their commercial, social and environmental values.
We help companies articulate their core values and then translate them into practical policies, setting targets and ensuring that they are met.
We understand the constraints involved in implementing change in this area, particularly for international companies with operations in many countries. We therefore concentrate on helping a company make progress at a pace which is challenging, realistic and above all effective.
A Case Study – Avis Europe:
Live has drafted the CSR section of the Avis Europe 2005, 2006 and 2007 Annual Reports and its CSR website text. We produced guidelines which explained how the company could meet its environmental KPI of reducing energy consumption. We worked with the company to identify priority areas for global community investment activities. We then produced guidelines which explained how these policies could be implemented.

Food and Drink Federation

The Food and Drink Federation (FDF) is the voice of the UK food and drink industry, the largest manufacturing sector in the country. The industry directly employs 500,000 people, and as many as 1.2 million in ancillary services; it accounts for 15% of the UK's total manufacturing sector by value; and it is an invaluable partner to British agriculture buying two-thirds of what farmers produce.

FDF's membership comprises manufacturers of all sizes as well as trade associations and groups dealing with specific sectors of the industry. FDF helps its members operate in an appropriately regulated marketplace to maximise their competitiveness. FDF communicates industry's values and concerns to Government, regulators, consumers and the media. FDF also works in partnership with key players in the food chain to ensure food is safe and that consumers can have trust in it.

Skill Force

Almost 20% of 18-24 year olds are not in employment, education or training. 30,000 young people fail to gain any qualification at school, and 10,000 are excluded. Skill Force is a national charity which transforms the lives of underperforming teenagers.
Skill Force was established in 2000 to work with 14-16 year olds who are underachieving at school. It operates by placing its instructors in schools to deliver vocational training programmes to pupils who are identified by the school as at risk of exclusion, have truancy problems, are disruptive, have low self-esteem and who have given up on education.
We have the opportunity to have a positive impact on these young people, their families and their communities by improving their life chances.
